{"id":519,"date":"2021-01-02T20:50:05","date_gmt":"2021-01-02T12:50:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sgsupport.com\/?post_type=resource&#038;p=519"},"modified":"2022-09-22T16:17:39","modified_gmt":"2022-09-22T08:17:39","slug":"harnessing-the-power-of-big-data-to-drive-donor-engagement","status":"publish","type":"resource","link":"https:\/\/www.sgsupport.com\/zh-hans\/resources\/harnessing-the-power-of-big-data-to-drive-donor-engagement\/","title":{"rendered":"Harnessing the power of big data to drive donor engagement"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>\u201cBig data is levelling the playing field for charities and allowing them to gain similar insights into their customers as international corporations\u201d \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.charitydigitalnews.co.uk\/2017\/03\/20\/big-data-is-levelling-the-playing-field-for-charities-says-microsoft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Microsoft<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>SG kicked off our annual data-sharing sessions with our Southeast Asia charity partners this year with the first session held in Thailand in July.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Data Share, which started in 2017, is part of our initiatives in adding value to and fostering collaboration with our charity partners using big data.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Needless to say, our data-sharing sessions are usually highly interactive. Participants engaged in discussions and exchanged ideas as well as their best practices, which we ultimately used to finalize new and exciting solutions to test out in the second half of the year.
